LEARNING DELIVERY CUSTOMS & EXCISE OPERATIONS SPECIALIST

The South African Revenue Services (SARS) is looking for a permanent Learning Delivery Customs & Excise Operations Specialist in Cape Town, Western Cape and Alberton, Gauteng.

Job Purpose

Education and Experience

Minimum Qualification & Experience Required

Relevant Bachelor’s Degree/ Advanced Diploma (NQF 7) and five -7 years’ journey in an International Trade (Supply Chain) / Commercial/ Customs and Excise/ Learning & Development environment, of which 2-3 years’ is at a purposeful expert level?
OR

Senior Certificate (NQF4) and 10 years associated International Trade (Supply Chain) / Commercial/ Customs and Excise/ Learning & Development experience, of which 2-3 years is at useful professional level?

Additional Technical Competencies:

Facilitating Customs & Excise studying programmes
Strong perception of international, regional, and country wide Customs and Excise regulations, tariff classifications, and change agreements (e.g., WTO, regional change blocs).
Customs technical journey in Licensing, Registration, announcement processing and systems, Valuation, Tariff, Origin, searches & examinations and Customs Audits
Technical Excise Industry experience, Excise account administration & Excise Audits
