TASK LEVEL 12 -Total cost to company- R635 246.45 – R800 228.76 per annum

JOB PURPOSE:
Develop, promote and implement marketing and outreach strategies to educate residents, business and
instructions on waste awareness educational programmes related to the goals and objectives of waste
management, minimization and recycling. Liaising with relevant stakeholders to provide advice.
Implementing waste education activities, programs and projects.
SELECTION REQUIREMENTS FOR THE POST:
- Relevant B Degree or relevant 5 years’ experience within the Waste Industry as a Marketing/ Sales
OTHER REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS: - Code B Drivers licence
- Computer literacy (Ms Office Applications)
- Proficiency in at least 2 of the official languages of the Western Cape
- Sound knowledge of waste management and awareness
- Good management, human relations and communication skills
- Ability to give attention to detail
- High level of responsibility

GENERAL INFORMATION:
- A service bonus equivalent to one month’s salary, where applicable, will be payable and be supplemented by the normal benefits applicable to the Municipality including housing allowance for homeowners subject to certain conditions.
